Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using fixmyfile.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms apply to all visitors and users.
Service description
FixMyFile is a collection of free, browser-based file processing tools. Tools include image conversion and compression, PDF utilities, background removal, invoice generation, QR code creation, and more. All file processing runs entirely in your browser — files are never uploaded to our servers.
FixMyFile is owned and operated by MyBliss Technologies, a South African company. The service is provided to users worldwide, subject to these terms.
Free to use
All current tools are free to use. The service is supported by advertising. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features or a premium tier in future — any such changes will be clearly communicated and won't affect access to existing free tools without notice.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the files you process and the content you generate using FixMyFile. By using the service you confirm that you will not:
- Use the tools to process, create, or distribute illegal content
- Create fraudulent documents — including false invoices, forged identity documents, or misleading official-looking materials
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others (including processing copyrighted files without authorisation)
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users
- Use automated tools to access or interact with the site at scale without prior written consent from MyBliss Technologies
MyBliss Technologies reserves the right to block access to users who violate these terms.
No warranty
FixMyFile's tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that every tool will produce perfect output for every file type, size, or browser. Output quality may vary depending on your device, browser, and input files.
Always keep the original copies of your files. We're not liable for data loss resulting from use of any tool on this site. Processed output is your responsibility to review before use.
Intellectual property
The FixMyFile name, logo, and overall site design are the intellectual property of MyBliss Technologies. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these without written permission.
The tools are free for personal and commercial use — but the underlying software is not open source and may not be copied or redistributed. Third-party libraries used by the site are subject to their own respective licences.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, MyBliss Technologies and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or loss arising from reliance on generated documents.
Your use of FixMyFile is entirely at your own risk.
Third-party services
FixMyFile integrates with third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and the Google Drive API. Your use of these services through our site is also subject to their respective terms. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their conduct.
Availability and modifications
We aim to keep the service available continuously, but we may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without notice. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes in advance, but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we'll post a notice on the site.
